Changes Coming To Gulf Shores Parking Start Next Week

Lots of good options for locals and tourists

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (GSN) – Changes are coming to the paid beach parking areas in Gulf Shores. Starting July 1, the city is rolling out updated paid beach parking regulations to make it easier to enjoy the beach and support nearby shops and restaurants, according to their press release.


These updates were developed ๐ข๐ง ๐œ๐จ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐›๐ž๐š๐œ๐กโ€‘๐š๐ซ๐ž๐š ๐›๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ to address longโ€‘term parking issues, improve turnover in highโ€‘demand areas, and ensure customers can access local establishments during peak times. The City of Gulf Shores stated "We're working to keep the beach experience smooth, accessible, and welcoming for everyone."

Residents continue to ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ค ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ž in all public beach parking areas with a valid Hurricane Reโ€‘Entry Decal. East Gulf Place remains residentโ€‘only.


๐๐จ๐งโ€‘๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‘๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ (๐’๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ 1):

• $2/hr north of Beach Blvd.

• $3/hr south of Beach Blvd.

• $4/hr overnight (11 p.m.–6 a.m.)

Overnight parking remains prohibited after 2 a.m. in beachfront lots and Lagoon Pass Park.

• $75 per violation

• +$75 every 24 hours the vehicle remains in violation

• Vehicles may be towed or booted if parked illegally or if fines are unpaid

• West Gulf Place
