Membership cards and discounted signups offered to eligible locals
The Flora-Bama is inviting area residents to gather for a special locals appreciation event focused on its membership program. The coastal venue plans to combine live music, complimentary food, and member perks into a single afternoon. Organizers say the celebration is designed to thank people who live nearby. They also hope it will encourage more locals to sign up for memberships that last through 2026.
The Locals Appreciation Membership Launch Party is scheduled for Sunday, December 14. The event will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Flora-Bama, which sits on the state line near Orange Beach and Perdido Key.

During the party, Big Earl is set to perform, bringing live music to the tent stage as part of the celebration. Guests will be treated to complimentary food while they enjoy the show and learn about the membership perks. Event organizers say the goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for year-round residents.
Local status is required to receive the main benefit of the event. Attendees must show a driver’s license or other identification that lists an address in Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, or Perdido Key. With that local ID, guests can receive a free 2026 Flora-Bama membership card free during the party.
The promotion does not end when the music stops. For locals who cannot attend on December 14, Flora-Bama will continue offering the membership card at the promotional rate of $35 in the store through December 21. During that time, eligible residents can still come in, show their local identification, and secure their 2026 membership cards at the promotional rate.
Flora-Bama leaders say the membership launch party is meant to recognize the people who support the venue beyond the busy tourist season. By offering free membership cards at the event and extending a discount afterward, they hope to make it easier for locals to enjoy future visits and special gatherings.
