Historic town named one of "Most Beautiful" in nation

gulf shores area news

One of the best parts about living on the Alabama shores is being able to visit the "non-tourist" local spots. Baldwin County has numerous hideaways that were only known to locals and inquisitive visitors. One of those treasured spots has been gaining more attention in the last decade and now is deservedly listed in a "Best Of" type article.

Magnolia Springs was listed in the coveted "Most Beautiful Towns In America" by Condé Nast magazine. In the recent article, Caitlin Morton recognizes the towns beautiful trees, the often mentioned postal service by water and the famous bed and breakfast built in 1897.

There are many Baldwin County locals who would probably create a fund to help hide the hidden treasures of Magnolia Springs but the word would eventually get out. The full article "Most Beautiful Towns in America" list 28 amazing locations, but biasedly stated, none had the southern charm of our local oasis of serenity.

Some places which also deserve mentioning in Magnolia Springs are St. Paul’s Episcopal Chapel, Jesse's Restaurant and amazing water cruises.

Congratulations to the town of Magnolia Springs.
