Auburn Bed and Breakfast

Many local Auburn fans have been keeping a secret but the word is getting out. There is a bed and breakfast in just outside of Auburn that provides a luxurious "Big House" and six cottages on the sprawling farm. The food and beverage are amazing and the location is away from the bustle of the city.

The Auburn Bed and Breakfast, sometimes referred to as Shoofly Farms, is located in Waverly, Alabama. It is a short drive from the city and provides a peaceful, homespun atmosphere for those who travel to games, or just want to relax.

Due to the amount of coastal students who are attending Auburn University, this location has become a second home for many local. They often speak of their great trips but swore people to secrecy in order to get their favorite cabin. Well, the word is out and now Auburn Bed and Breakfast is a destination.

Plus, located nearby is the award winning Waverly Local Restaurant. Listed as a Top 10 in the State, you will definitely want to have at least one dinner while in the area.

Back to the farm, Auburn Bed and Breakfast at Shoofly Farm is the perfect combination of a rustic retreat and an upscale, modern bed and breakfast experience. The main house has a large wrap-around porch for breakfast and afternoon cocktails. There are several private cottages also on the farm so you can really get away from it all.

The owner, "Louise", will greet you and provide amazing service during the stay. She has become quite familiar with many island residents and even takes excursions to the beach when she needs a break.

One of their reviewers states it best  - "If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in the woods with the most adorable decor, this is it! the Sugar Shack is off the beaten path with beautiful surroundings and amazing indoor space as well as outdoor. It was the perfect place to spend some quiet alone time with my husband for our 12th anniversary. The complimentary breakfast prepared by Bob was absolutely delicious and he was an amazing hist and tour guide. We also fell in love with the goats and rabbits!"
