Orange Beach, Ala. — (GSN) — The Mystics of Pleasure Mardi Gras Krewe is gearing up for a fun night in Orange Beach. The Krewe will host its 26th Annual Drawdown fundraiser at the Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf. The event promises an evening packed with food, live music, dancing, and a chance to win $10,000. Tickets are priced at $200 per couple and include an open bar along with all the evening's entertainment.

The fundraiser is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, with doors opening and festivities beginning at 7 p.m. Attendees do not need to be present to win the $10,000 grand prize. This year, organizers are introducing something new for the first time in the event's history.

For the first time ever, guests can purchase additional drawdown numbers for $75 each, increasing their chances of winning the top prize. Anyone who buys five extra tickets will also receive a complimentary private table for 10 guests. The new option is designed to offer more flexibility to longtime fans of the event.

Very limited VIP tables are also available this year for those seeking a more premium experience. Each VIP package includes elevated dining, five extra-chance tickets, champagne bottle service, a dedicated server, and an exclusive craft cocktail menu. Organizers say these tables are extremely limited and are expected to go quickly.

Event coordinator Ron Goode spoke about the annual gathering's lasting appeal. "If you've been before, you know why this event has become a Gulf Coast tradition. If this will be your first time, get ready for an unforgettable evening of great food, drinks, entertainment, fellowship, and the excitement of watching the final drawdown number remain standing," Goode said.

Goode also reflected on the krewe's long history of hosting the event and issued a word of caution to those considering waiting. "For the past 26 years, this event has become one of the Gulf Coast's most anticipated nights, bringing together great people, incredible food, live entertainment, and the excitement of a chance to win $10,000," he said.

He issued a direct warning to anyone on the fence about buying tickets. "Every year, the drawdown sells out. If you're planning to attend, don't wait until the last minute. Once the tickets and numbers are gone, they're gone!" Goode said.

Tickets can be purchased at MysticsOfPleasure.com. For more information, the public can call (251) 786-1054.
