Orange Beach Elementary School earned a 99 on the State Report Card, establishing it among the top-performing elementary schools in Alabama. The high score helped secure its place among the Top 25 schools in the Legislative School Performance Recognition Program. This program, conducted annually by the Alabama State Department of Education, highlights schools that perform exceptionally well or demonstrate significant progress.

Under the program, schools can be recognized in one of two categories. High-performance schools rank within the top 25 percent of public schools according to the state school grading system. Exemplary Progress schools improve their overall annual ranking by at least one letter grade on the state report card.

Each year, the top 25 schools in the High-Performance and Exemplary Progress categories receive public recognition and a monetary award. Orange Beach Elementary earned this distinction based on its performance in the 2024–2025 state grading system.
