Powerball® Jackpot numbers still have no winner

Powerball Jackpot

There still has not been a winner of one of the largest lottery jackpots in history. The jackpot for Powerball® is now at $1.7 billion dollars, fourth largest in the game's history. A drawing will take place Wednesday at 10pm central time and locals are heading to Flora-Bama for tickets.

If a single ticket is sold matching each number drawn Monday, the winner could receive a jackpot of $1.7 billion paid out in 30 annualized payments, or elect to take the estimated lump sum of $781.3 million immediately which is the typically taken option.

Monday's lottery drawing numbers were: 3, 18, 36, 41, 54  and the powerball was 7.

Powerball® drawings are broadcast live every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 pm CT.

The odds for a single winner of the jackpot is 1 in 292,201,338. But the winner will not care about the odds after cashing in the ticket with the correct numbers.

So what would you do with an extra $781 million dollars? Most big winners buy real estate, new cars, big boats and immediately pay off debt. But some have built a water park, traveled the world or even taken the winning to gamble in Las Vegas.
