Powerball Had Two Winners of the $1.8 Billion Jackpot

The Powerball Lottery was finally won after a 42 drawing drought. The winning tickets were purchased in Texas and Missouri. The two lucky ticket buyers will be able to split an estimated lump-sum payment of $410.3 million dollars if they choose the immediate pay out.


The winning numbers were 11, 23, 44, 61, 62, and Powerball 17, according to the Powerball website.


In addition to the jackpot winners, 18 players won $1 million by matching all five white balls. Two players won $2 million by selecting the optional Power Play multiplier and matching all five white balls. The Powerball jackpot will next be drawn on Monday and the estimated total will now be $20 Million.


Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
