Runoff Election Results

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (GSN) – How many text have you had to block? How many signs have you seen added to local roads? How many mailers have you thrown into the trash? This runoff election season seemed filled with too much of everything.


The runoff election is over, except for the special election on August 11, 2026. Until then we can enjoy summer rains and traffic. We can also take a few minutes to review the list of winners and thank ALL of the candidates for their courage to jump into the campaign process.


The following are unofficial vote counts from the Alabama Secretary of State office. The winner is highlighted in red or blue depending on the party.

The wet weather was not helpful for voter turnout. According to the Baldwin County Probate office, the Total Ballots Cast were 21,708. That is 10.3% of the 210,699 registered voters in the county.
