The city of Gulf Shores will host "S'mores on the Shore" on Thursday, May 23, beginning at 6 p.m. at Gulf Place, located at 101 Gulf Shores Parkway. This event promises an evening of campfires, music, and free s’mores. Attendees can enjoy activities such as face painting and balloon artistry while relaxing on the public beach. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the festivities.

Since its inception in 2010, "S'mores on the Shore" has become a favorite event among both locals and visitors, according to Grant Brown, the city's Director of Recreation & Cultural Affairs. The combination of the scenic beach, lively music, and the warmth of campfires creates a memorable experience for people of all ages.
