Mariah Carey Officially Declares It Christmas Season

'Tis the season for beachy Christmas festivities
Now we can officially decorate the house, boat and Jeep for Christmas! Halloween and Shrimp Festival are complete so people along the Alabama coast can now prepare for the holiday season events that are special to the coast. Even Mariah Carey has made the transition.
To officially start the Christmas Season, Mariah Carey posted a funny short video on "X" reminding everyone of the transition from scary to sacred. The video shows the calendar transitioning from the end of October to the beginning of November, after which Carey sings, “It’s time,” in whistle tones while sitting in a sleigh as “All I Want for Christmas Is You” begins to play.

So now that THE season has begun you can eat and drink Pumpkin Spice items without explaining to others. You can eat sweets and just blame it on the season. You can buy yourself at least one gift for every three gifts you buy for others. But best of all you can enjoy all the wonderful Christmas events along the coast!

COASTAL CHRISTMAS MARKET - Get your Christmas shopping done early, as the Orange Beach Event Center will be filled with vendors showcasing a variety of handmade crafts, fine arts, retail goods, and truly one-of-a-kind gifts!
FLORA-BAMA'S ANNUAL SANTA DROP - See Santa skydive onto our white sandy beaches then jump in line in the Tent for Santa pics! It doesn’t matter how old you are, you can still sit on Santa’s lap and ask for whatever you want. Beginning at 11AM, prior to Santa's arrival at 12:30PM, we'll have kids crafts, games, live music featuring holiday tunes for the kiddos, face painting, juice and sweet treats - best of all, it's all FREE!
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA - Children will have one last minute chance to visit with Santa as Gulf Shores hosts Breakfast with Santa at the Erie H. Meyer Civic Center. Beginning at 8 a.m., families can dive into a wholesome breakfast complete with sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Admission for Breakfast with Santa is $5.00, while children 3 and under are free.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS LIGHTED BOAT PARADE - We like to celebrate the holidays in Gulf Coast style with brightly decorated boats to light the night! Arrive early if you want a table and stick around for the festivities. The boats will leave LuLu’s Gulf Shores and Homeport Marina at dusk and head to the Wharf in Orange Beach.
