Chamber Searches For New Membership Director

South Baldwin Chamber

The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce announced this past Wednesday that applications are now open for its Membership Director position following the departure of Frank Shepard, who has accepted a role as Economic Development Manager for the City of Foley.

The announcement was made on December 4 through a Chamber press release. Shepard served as a key member of the Chamber's leadership team, helping expand membership engagement and strengthen ties within the South Baldwin business community.

"We are deeply grateful for the hard work, professionalism, and dedication Frank has brought to his role," said Travis Valentine, President and CEO of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. Valentine said Shepard helped connect hundreds of businesses to the Chamber during his tenure.

In his new position with the City of Foley, Shepard will focus on recruiting businesses in the retail, hospitality, and medical sectors. "This role will allow him to remain an advocate for the South Baldwin Chamber, and we are confident he will continue to be a partner and champion for our organization," Valentine said.

The Chamber is now seeking a relationship-focused professional to fill the Membership Director role. The position is responsible for building strong relationships with Chamber members, investors, and community partners, as well as representing the organization at events throughout the region.
