Duckman Jam 2024 - Riley Green Rocks the Beach

Gulf Shores Music News

The Flora-Bama Lounge just announced its first Beach Concert for Spring Break 2024. Headlined by country music artist Riley Green, the "Duckman Jam" beach concert is set to take place on April 12th and 13th.

Riley Green, an Alabama native, is no stranger to the Flora-Bama. He has a history with the venue, including a memorable spring performance in 2020. Green's connection to the Flora-Bama goes beyond just performances. He once spent nearly three weeks playing daily at the venue during a spring break early in his career, an experience he humorously noted might have shortened his life by a decade. It was also at Flora-Bama where Green was discovered for the CMT reality show "Redneck Island," which he later won.

The Duckman Jam marks a return to the venue for Green, who has seen his career flourish since his last performance there. His accolades include being named the Academy of Country Music's new male artist of the year in 2020. His recent album, "Ain’t My Last Rodeo," released in October 2023, featured the Top 5 hit single "Different ‘Round Here."

Joining Green for the Duckman Jam are several notable names in country music. The lineup for Friday includes Tracy Lawrence and Jake Worthington, while Saturday's show features Drake White and Ella Langley. Additional acts include Davis Nix, the Ryan Dyer Duo, Jonboy Storey, the Tim Roberts Band, the Bruce Smelley Band, Mike Diamond, the Brandon Giles Band, and the Dalton Bush Band.

The Flora-Bama spokesperson said that the Duckman Jam will utilize the beach stage where Kenny Chesney played a free concert in 2014, creating a unique concert experience on the Gulf of Mexico that differs from large stadium-scale events.

The Duckman Jam is poised to be a major highlight of Spring Break 2023, offering fans of country music a unique opportunity to experience live performances in an iconic Gulf Coast setting.
