Tanger Outlets Foley Opens 2026 TangerKids Grants for Local Schools

Foley, Ala. — (GSN) — Educators in Baldwin County can now apply for funding to support student-focused programs through the annual TangerKids Grants Program, which has officially opened for the 2026/27 academic year. Tanger Outlets Foley announced the return of the program today, with applications accepted through Oct. 18, 2026.
The program enables teachers and school leaders to identify classroom and school needs and request funding for projects that improve accessibility, enhance classroom learning environments, and provide critical resources that support student success. Faculty members at public and private schools serving pre-K through grade 12 are eligible to apply.
Over the past 30 years, Tanger has dedicated more than $3.9 million to support education programs across the communities it serves, operating through 38 outlet centers and four open-air lifestyle centers. In 2025, the program awarded approximately $200,000 to initiatives across the United States and Canada, focusing on inclusive classroom environments, underserved schools, and programs that address evolving student needs.
Tanger Foley is Baldwin County’s upscale, open-air outlet shopping destination, featuring a coveted collection of top brands and local shops.
