Jimmy Buffet Tribute

Jimmy Buffett is a coastal legend who's life ended too early for his millions of worldwide fans and local residents of the Gulf Coast. Buffett's long-time songwriting partner and Zac Brown wrote and performed a new song which pays tribute to the epic coastal musician.

On Friday, the Zac Brown Band debuted "Pirates & Parrots" to a sold out show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. They were joined by McAnally, the Coral Reefer Band and others.

“Pirates & Parrots” also arrives on the eve of Kenny Chesney’s headlining tour kickoff. Zac Brown Band joined the “Sun Goes Down Tour” lineup, along with Uncle Kracker and Megan Moroney. The first night of the tour is a sold-out show at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday (April 20) in Tampa, Florida.

“I'm so excited for you to hear this song and to pay tribute to Jimmy Buffett. It hit me hard when we found out he was exiting the stage, he was an incredible human being,” frontman Zac Brown said in a statement. “This is a celebration of his life and all of the people that will remember him through his songs.”
