In a recent survey by MoveBuddha, a relocation assistance platform, Alabama is now in the top 10 choices of states.

The relocation tech company used proprietary data collected from 2020 to 2025 to analyze moving trends across the United States. Their report found that 4 of the top 10 states people are looking to most to most were in the south.

The citizens of Baldwin County are already familiar with this phenomena. The county has seen a 30.3%

increase in population growth between 2014 and 2024.

So where is the most popular state to move to for people relocating? South Carolina tops the chart for the past six years. According to the report, the state still offers affordable cost of living and access to nature.

The state with the most people desiring to leave is again California. Though it has beautiful scenery, the taxes, crime and overall cost of living make it an "exit state" to may business and their staffs.
