Officers welcome questions, concerns, and casual conversation from residents

Coffee With A Cop Gulf Shores, Alabama

The Gulf Shores Police are inviting residents to enjoy a morning of conversation and coffee with local officers. The event, Coffee with a Cop, gives community members the chance to meet police officers in a casual and friendly setting. Participants can use the time to ask questions, discuss concerns, or simply enjoy a friendly chat over a cup of coffee. Officers say the gathering helps strengthen relationships between the police and the public they serve.

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 1, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Cumberland Farms, located at 7074 Gulf Shores Parkway. Complimentary coffee will be provided to all who attend.

Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity for both new residents and longtime locals to meet Gulf Shores officers outside their usual duties. Instead of a formal presentation, the event is designed to encourage open and easy conversation. Police and community members can sit down together to share ideas and build trust.

The Gulf Shores Police Department has emphasized the importance of creating strong community ties. By hosting this event at a local gathering place, they hope to connect with residents in a more approachable and comfortable environment. Department representatives believe that small conversations over coffee can lead to stronger community bonds.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to stop by, even if only for a few minutes. Whether someone has a question about local safety, wants to learn more about the department, or simply wants to say hello, officers will be ready to chat.
