Foley Arrest For Accident Near Glenlakes Golf Club

Foley, Ala. — (GSN) — A 40-year-old Foley resident has been arrested and charged in connection with a severe two-vehicle collision that occurred in mid-August.

On October 2, 2026, officers with the Foley Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit charged Lacy Davis with Assault in the First Degree, a Class B Felony, and Driving Under the Influence. The charges originate from a late-night crash on August 15, 2026, at the intersection of Miflin Road and Fairway Drive.

Foley Police officers issued formal charges and secured an arrest warrant after receiving official toxicology results and completing additional investigative work in close coordination with the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office.

Davis was taken into custody without incident by the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office and is currently being held in the Baldwin County Jail.

According to authorities, the victim of the crash remains in a rehabilitation facility recovering from severe injuries and is expected to face lifelong health complications.

"Our department is dedicated to removing impaired and distracted drivers from our streets," said Foley Police Chief Kevin Carnley. "We will continue to hold individuals accountable when reckless actions jeopardize the safety of our community."

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and a final verdict has been passed.
