Four standout players from Orange Beach High School's National Champion softball team have committed to new teams and schools at the collegiate level, marking a significant milestone for the program. The signings highlight the exceptional talent nurtured in this coastal Alabama community.

In a NCAA contract signing event, the following players recently made their choice:

Daigle Wilson inked her commitment to Auburn University, strengthening the Orange Beach-SEC connection.

KG Favors made her choice official by signing with the University of South Carolina, picked to be a TOP 20 NCAA team by USA Today for 2025.

Justine Henderson committed to the University of Mobile Rams, who went 30-16 this year.

Kaitlynn Robertson made her commitment to Louisiana Christian University, who were the NCCAA National Champions in 2003 and third place in the 2008 NCAA Championship.

Other players from the Orange Beach championship team have also made recent college commitments. Teagan Revette, a key player for the Orange Beach squad, has chosen to continue her athletic career at Mississippi State University.  Katie King and Ava Hodo, both integral members of the team, have set their sights on the University of Arkansas.

The success of these athletes not only brings pride to their school and community but also serves as inspiration for younger players in Orange Beach. It showcases the potential for local talent to compete at the highest levels of collegiate softball.

Softball has grown enormously over time. Looking at college softball alone, the 2024 Women's College World Series Finals between the top two teams in the nation, Texas and Oklahoma, drew two million viewers, the most on record. South Carolina is ranked in the Top 20 by USA Today.
