Orange Beach, Ala. — (GSN) — The City of Orange Beach is hosting its 6th Annual Freedom Fest at The Wharf on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026. Bringing together patriotic displays, local shopping, live entertainment, and coastal community spirit, this free, two-day celebration offers a full lineup of activities for residents and visitors alike.
The Island's Pinnacle Auto Expo
At the heart of the festival lies the Bama Coast Cruisin' Fall Car Show along Main Street and Wharf Parkway. The event has solidified its reputation as the pinnacle auto expo on the island, drawing hundreds of registered participants and thousands of spectators to admire classic hot rods, antique automobiles, custom trucks, and vintage cars from every era. Car enthusiasts can explore row after row of pristine rides, complete with VIP reserved parking spaces for entrants, door prize giveaways, and custom builds on display. The automotive showcase culminates on Sunday afternoon with a police-escorted 14-mile Beach Cruise along the scenic coastal highway.
Live Music Stages and Entertainment
Festivalgoers will find continuous live music at the Flora-Bama / CoastAL Music Stage located on the west side of The Wharf. Spanning both festival days, the stage highlights a diverse roster of regional musicians and bands, delivering energetic performances that keep the festival grounds buzzing from morning until late afternoon.
Food Vendors and Local Artisans
Alongside the musical performances, the west side of The Wharf hosts a large array of food vendors serving up fresh coastal cuisine, specialty snacks, signature festival treats, and refreshments operated in partnership with local community organizations. Visitors can stroll through rows of arts, crafts, and outdoor experience booths featuring handmade goods, woodwork, jewelry, and specialty items.
Family Activities and Community Spirit
Rounding out the event is a dedicated Kids' Zone located near the Ferris wheel, sponsored by the Orange Beach Police Department as a fundraiser for their K9 unit. Featuring inflatables, games, patriotic military booths, and family activities, Freedom Fest delivers an All-American weekend celebration of freedom, community, and Gulf Coast heritage.
