Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (GSN) —  You might think after 15 years they might grow up, but Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores just keeps celebrating and smiling while hosting customers. So many locals and visitors have shown up during their 15 day-long birthday party.

It's hard to believe how the location has grown from an architect's idea to a place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Residents have watched it mature to the scrumptious spot it has now become.

Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores location has been celebrating for 15 days in honor of their anniversary. The legendary spot at one end of Canal Road, facing the Intracoastal Waterway, is now 15 years old. Time flies when you are having as much fun as the TJ staff.

The Gulf Shores location is one of three waterfront spots on the Alabama Gulf Coast. It features an upper level with lots of seating inside and out, plus outdoor seating only downstairs at Jack's Bar. Tacky Jack's has been voted a locals' favorite hangout and offers phenomenal happy hour specials. A quirky tradition allows guests to add their own colorful message using duct tape to the walls.

Located in the new Waterway Village District, this waterfront venue offers great food and spirits along the scenic IntraCoastal Waterway, surrounded by towering live oak trees. The atmosphere is laid-back and casual, welcoming visitors arriving "By land or Sea".

Tacky Jack's serves Southern-style seafood and American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.

Everyone is invited to stop by and wish them a happy birthday!
