A week of appreciation events for Orange Beach heroes

Sunliner Diner Orange Beach

Sunliner Diner is set to bring its nostalgic charm and classic menu to Orange Beach with a new location at 26035 Perdido Beach Boulevard. The highly anticipated opening comes with a weeklong celebration highlighting the community spirit that defines our community. The diner plans to honor local heroes, teachers, and families with free meals and warm hospitality. In return, guests are encouraged to make donations that will go directly to Orange Beach Schools, combining good food with a good cause.

While Sunliner Diner in Orange Beach isn’t open to the public yet, from November 10 through November 14, Sunliner Diner will host daily events recognizing the people who make Orange Beach thrive. The celebration begins on Monday, November 10, when city employees, including city hall staff, will receive complimentary meals as a token of appreciation for their service.

On Tuesday, November 11, the spotlight turns to educators from Orange Beach Elementary School. Staff and teachers are invited to enjoy a free meal and take part in photo opportunities to celebrate their dedication to local students.

The celebration continues Wednesday, November 12, with meals for Orange Beach Middle School teachers and staff, recognizing their role in shaping young minds. On Thursday, November 13, the attention shifts to Orange Beach High School educators, who will be welcomed to the diner for free food and a well-deserved break.

The week wraps up on Friday, November 14, when Sunliner Diner partners with the Christian Service Center to offer meals for families in need. This special day focuses on fellowship and compassion, inviting families to share food and community spirit together.

Donations throughout the week are voluntary, but every dollar raised will benefit local schools. The diner aims to strengthen the bond between local businesses and the education system, showing appreciation for those who support the community daily.

The team behind Sunliner Diner expressed excitement about the opening and gratitude toward the residents of Orange Beach. “We’re proud to join such an amazing community and can’t wait to serve you with open arms and classic diner hospitality,” a spokesperson said.

With its retro design, friendly service, and focus on giving back, Sunliner Diner hopes to become more than just a place to eat. It aspires to be a welcoming spot where the people of Orange Beach can gather, celebrate, and connect over timeless diner favorites. The doors will open soon and will be open for Thanksgiving.
