Fort Morgan Seafood Festival

Fort Morgan Marina will host the first-ever Fort Morgan Seafood Festival this fall. The new event brings together local businesses and restaurants for a weekend celebration of Gulf Coast seafood. Tacky Jacks is partnering with Fort Morgan Marina and several area vendors to organize the festival. The event aims to showcase the peninsula's fresh seafood and support the local fire department.

The Fort Morgan Seafood Festival will take place Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16. Both days run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The festival will feature multiple local seafood vendors and menu items.
Tacky Jacks will serve its Low Country Boil at the event. Billy's Seafood will also participate in the festival. Navy Cove Oysters and Admiral Oysters will offer fresh oysters to attendees. Annan Fresh Off-the-Boat Shrimp will provide locally caught shrimp.

Drinks will be available from Tacky Jacks' Dockside Bar throughout the weekend. The Fort Morgan Civic Association is sponsoring live music for the festival. Arts and crafts booths will be set up at dockside locations during the event.

Booth and table rentals benefit the Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department. Artists, crafters, businesses, and organizations can rent space at the festival. Those interested in renting a booth should contact organizers at 251-540-2628.

The festival takes place at Fort Morgan Marina, located at 1577 State Highway 180. The marina sits on the Fort Morgan peninsula in Baldwin County. The location provides waterfront access for the seafood-focused event.

Organizers describe this as a collaboration between Tacky Jacks and its neighbors at Fort Morgan Marina. The partnership includes several local businesses working together for the inaugural festival. The event highlights locally sourced seafood from Gulf waters.

The Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department will receive proceeds from vendor booth rentals. The fire department serves the Fort Morgan community on the peninsula. Supporting the volunteer fire department is one goal of the new festival.
