Orange Beach City Schools has announced that its 2024 graduating class achieved a 100% graduation rate. This accomplishment represents a major milestone for the district, highlighting the dedication of students, teachers, staff, and the entire community.

The Alabama State Department of Education determines graduation rates based on the percentage of students who graduate on time, within four years of starting high school. Every student in Orange Beach’s Class of 2024 met this goal, reflecting the district's commitment to academic success.

“This achievement is a testament to the power of collaboration and our collective focus on preparing students for success in college, career, and life,” said Randy Wilkes, Superintendent of Orange Beach City Schools.

The 2024 graduation rate builds on the previous success of the Class of 2023, which had an impressive 98% graduation rate. The 2023 rate will be used in the calculation of Alabama's official Report Card, expected later this year.

This achievement further solidifies Orange Beach City Schools' reputation as one of Alabama's top-performing districts, underscoring its focus on student success and educational quality.
