Meeting of the Minds has returned to Gulf Shores for it's annual "Parrot Heads in Paradise" convention. Thousands of fans migrate each year to the white sands and emerald waters to celebrate a lifestyle synonymous with Gulf Shores and legendary singer/ songwriter Jimmy Buffett.


If you are not a MOTM member you can easily register HERE and enjoy all of the events along the coast this week. You can also get days passes at the gate.


The PHIP group has made Gulf Shores their new home for the annual party. Local outlets like LuLu's, Flora-Bama and the Hangout are where the birds flock. They also have "Cheese Burger In Paradise" and other specials for the week.

The City of Gulf Shores provided an update on the progress of a $24 million pedestrian bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). The Waterway Village Pedestrian Bridge will include two towers, one on each side of the ICW, and a separate plaza project will enhance the areas surrounding the towers.

Foley has opened a new campus for city departments serving its growing population. The 14-acre Foley Public Works Campus consolidates several operations in one location. The five-building facility houses the city’s Public Works, Engineering, Sanitation and Street departments.
