The official book of Gulf Shores is available for limited time

The official store of Gulf Shores has the official book of the city available for a limited time. The Small Town, Big Beach™ book is filled with historic pictures and stories about the community. A must have for every resident, property owner or those who love to visit the beach.

The Gulf Shores City Store,  located on Hwy. 59 in front of City Hall, is now stocking the ultimate coffee table book for those who want to see great pictures of the past and read the true stories about how and who built Gulf Shores.

This beautifully curated pictorial history coffee table book captures the story of Gulf Shores—from its early days as a small coastal town to the thriving destination it is today. Developed in partnership with PV Publications, Small Town, Big Beach™ features rare historic photographs, first-hand accounts from residents and local leaders, and scenic imagery that highlights the natural beauty and community spirit of the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Whether you're a long-time resident, new to the area, or simply appreciate the charm of Gulf Shores, this book is a meaningful keepsake and a valuable record of our shared history.

Instead of hearing someone's guess about how something happened in the past, you can read and view pictures of the event in the official book.

A big bonus also awaits you at the store. When you visit the store to get the book you can shop all of the official Gulf Shores Small Town, Big Beach™ shirts and gear.

Small Town, Big Beach™ can be purchased at the City Store Flagship location, the Gulf Shores Museum, or online.
