A tough week for both island teams

The Orange Beach High School officially opened their new sports facilities on homecoming week. Local crowds have visited and cheered the changes and technology used in the school's sports plex.
Unfortunately the Makos football team of Orange Beach fell to the Mobile Christian Leopards by a score of 17-32. The Makos varsity football team are now 4 wins and 5 losses on the season. The will next face St. Michaels Catholic School Cardinals on the 24th.
The Dolphins of Gulf Shores High School experienced a loss on their schedule this week as well. The Fins traveled to Theodore and suffered a 14-20 loss to the Bobcats. The Dolphins are now 3 and 5 overall for the season and next face the Baldwin County Tigers on October 24.
Local high school football games are being broadcast on Sunny 105.7 radio. You can listen live on the radio and computer.
After each local high school football game, Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores is staying open late! When asked why the management said "Because victory (and even tough losses) taste better with nachos, burgers, and something cold at the beach’s Tackiest hangout!"
