Local high school football is a perfect outing for these October nights. Unfortunately the perfection of the Jackson Aggies was too much for the Orange Beach Makos. The Aggies put up 41 points in the first half and that was all they needed. The Makos of Orange Beach remained scoreless.  The Makos will next face Mobile Christian (5-2) at home.

Gulf Shores played Friday night and stunned the Spanish Fort Toros. The Gulf Shores Dolphins won the game with a final score of 24 to 10. The Dolphin offense exploded in the 2nd quarter, while their defense played tough throughout.

The Gulf Shores Dolphins will next travel to take on the Theodore Bobcats. The game takes place on October 17th and starts at 7PM.

Local high school football games are being broadcast on Sunny 105.7 radio. You can listen live on the radio and computer.

After each local high school football game, Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores is staying open late! When asked why the management said "Because victory (and even tough losses) taste better with nachos, burgers, and something cold at the beach’s Tackiest hangout!"
