Orange Beach Kids Camp

Orange Beach, Ala. — (GSN) — Orange Beach is bringing back one of its most popular summer programs for kids. The Orange Beach Public Safety Kids' Camp is set to return for another year. The free camp offers children a hands-on look at local police and fire departments. It is a fun, educational experience that has become a summer favorite in the community.

The camp is scheduled for July 13 through July 17, 2026, at the Orange Beach Recreation Center. Registration opens at 8 a.m. on June 1, 2026, and closes at 5 p.m. on June 18, 2026. Parents are encouraged to register early, as space is limited to 50 campers.

The camp is open to children ages 8 to 11. Each day runs from 7:45 a.m. to noon. The program is free, but registration is required to secure a spot.

Campers will get an up-close look at the Orange Beach Police and Fire/Rescue departments throughout the week. They will explore boats, vehicles, and K9 units. The activities are designed to be safe, engaging, and educational for all participants.

Snacks and water will be provided each day of the camp. The final day, July 17, will feature a special cookout lunch for all campers. It is a fun way to wrap up a week full of learning and community connection.

Parents can register their children and find more information on the official camp webpage. All updates and registration details will be posted there once the sign-up period begins. The registration form is available at the
