In a thrilling match-up on the softball field, the #7 nationally ranked Orange Beach Makos Girls Softball Team secured a significant victory against the #5 ranked Pace Patriots last night in a 4 to 2 win at home. K.G. Favors lead the pitching attack with a 2.0 ERA, keeping the Pace Patriots off the bases. Daigle Wilson was outstanding in the field with 2 put-outs and 3 assist of her 5 total fielding chances. Hodo, Wilson, Revette, King and Robertson all contributed at the plate.

The Orange Beach Makos, also ranked first in Alabama Division 4A, have been having a standout season, with sophomore Ava Hodo leading the team with an impressive .500 batting average and being a key player in their offensive lineup.
