Spring Break season is close to end for 2026

Orange Beach Police

Orange Beach, Ala. — (GSN) — The Orange Beach Police Department is preparing for an influx of visitors as Spring Break begins for students in Baldwin and Mobile Counties. The department said it appreciates those choosing to spend their vacation in the city. Police also said safety will remain a top priority during the busy travel period. This week is the end of the large crowds for the break and allows the beach industries to prepare for the summer season.

The department announced that a zero-tolerance policy will be enforced throughout the 2026 Spring Break season. Officials said the policy covers underage drinking, drug use, and disorderly conduct. Law enforcement officers said these rules are in place to protect both visitors and residents.

To support enforcement efforts, the Orange Beach Police Department said it has doubled staffing during Spring Break. Officers are also working closely with Alabama State Parks. Officials said the coordination is intended to prevent beach issues before they occur.

Police said their goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone visiting the area. They urged visitors to follow local laws and respect public spaces. Officials added that maintaining a family-friendly environment requires cooperation between law enforcement and the public.
