Orange Beach Public Works Director Arrested

Arrest was part of large sting in Escambia County

Orange Beach, Ala. — (GSN) — Orange Beach public works director Timothy Tucker was arrested and charged with prostitution as part of a multi-day, multi-agency undercover sting in Escambia County. He was the third public official identified as a suspect in the operation.
Tucker, 65, was booked into the Escambia County Detention Center and was later released on bond.

Under Escambia County codes it states: Alabama Code Section 13A-12-121 is a statewide criminal law that governs prostitution and solicitation prohibited activities. While it applies globally to Escambia County, it is an Alabama State Code statute rather than a local county ordinance.
The City of Orange Beach has not responded to a media inquiry into the matter, but removed his profile from the city website. This story was first reported by 1819 News.
State Rep. Brett Easterbrook (R-Fruitdale) was arrested in the operation and charged with first-degree human trafficking and soliciting prostitution. He has since posted bond.
Satsuma City School Board president Kory Wesley was arrested and charged with first-degree human trafficking and attempting to elude. He was also released on bond.
The suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Escambia County Sheriff Jackson said more information will be released in the coming days.
