Orange Beach, Ala. — (GSN) — Spring break season has arrived in Orange Beach, and city officials are reminding visitors of what the community values. Leaders emphasize that the coastal city is family-oriented and not a party town. They highlight that public safety remains a top priority. City officials said the reminder is sent out each year as students travel to the Gulf Coast. They emphasized that underage drinking, illegal drug use, disorderly conduct, or any breach of peace will not be tolerated. Visitors are encouraged to respect one another and enjoy their time responsibly.

For public safety reasons, the city has closed a small section of beach at Alabama Point East near the Perdido Pass Bridge. The temporary closure will stay in effect through most of April during the peak of spring break travel. A map provided by the city shows the exact area affected.
