Join the Gulf State Park guides for a fascinating journey through the Gulf of Mexico as they explore the tales of daring pirates who braved the high seas in search of hidden treasures. Discover the rich pirate history native to the area where the local waters and islands served as shelter from the storm and refuge from the other dangers lurking across the pristine deep waters blue. The History of Gulf Pirates starts at 1PM at the Nature Center. Pre-Registration is preferred but not required. https://reserve.alapark.com/register/history-of-gulf-pirates

Then head over to Hudson’s Marina aka Skull Harbor to weigh ye anchor and hoist the mizzen all aboard a real pirate ship adventure. This is a perfect ‘Fair Winds’ ending to your Gulf Coast Pirate studies day. The American Star will pass by and through some of the very hiding nooks used by pirates. Hold steady as the ship crosses the pass out into the open Gulf of Mexico for a full swashbuckling journey up and down the coastal shores of the local beach towns. Captain and Crew take the escapade to the next level in full costume and notable Arr pirate tone we’ve come to recognize through popular movies and shows. There will be water cannon battles, treasure mapping, face painting, and tales only a black bearded pirate could teach. Be sure to make reservations for every picaroon, buccaneer and privateer, Ahoy.
