Gulf Shores, Ala. — (GSN) — Gulf Shores Elementary School is partnering with Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores for a Spirit Night fundraiser. The event will bring families together for a fun evening of food, entertainment, and school pride. A portion of restaurant sales from in-person and online orders will benefit Gulf Shores Elementary School. Students can also help their class compete for a special prize.

Spirit Night is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores, 240 East 24th Avenue, Gulf Shores. Families are encouraged to arrive early and stay for the full evening of activities.

Entertainment throughout the night includes family karaoke from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a free photo booth for guests. Students and families will also have the chance to meet Miss Marlin, the Gulf Shores Elementary School mascot, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The class with the most participation will win lunch on the house, courtesy of Tacky Jacks. To be counted toward class participation, students must write their teacher's name on their receipt and place it in the restaurant's entry box.

Families who cannot attend in person can still support Gulf Shores Elementary School by ordering through DoorDash. DoorDash receipts can be emailed to gulfshoresevents@tackyjacks.com, including the teacher's name, by August 30, 2026, to receive credit.
