Foley, Ala. — (GSN) — The Alabama The Back-To-School Sales Tax Holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on the third Friday in July and ends at midnight on the following Sunday. Tanger Outlets Foley invites shoppers to kick off the start of the school season in style with its Back-to-School Bash and Tax-Free Celebration on Saturday, July 18 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Families can celebrate their scholars with an array of free activities near the lawn near Michael Kors, including a face painter, balloon artist, caricature artist, DJ, giant inflatable games and a beach ball drop at 2 p.m. 

Guests can also take advantage of Alabama’s tax-free holiday to stock up on back-to-school essentials and first-day fashions. From July 17–19, shoppers can save on sales taxes for all clothing and footwear individually priced at $156 or less; school supplies individually priced at $78 or less; computers and software priced at $1,173 or less per single purchase; and books individually priced at $47 or less.
