Boaters have several choices when it comes to where to dock in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area. Often the boat owners are considering prices, fuel, location and especially service. MarinaLife is on online magazine that helps boat owners organize trips and select a dockage spot on their journey.


In MarinaLife's Annual "Readers Choice Awards", they honor marinas, destinations, and individuals who go above and beyond to create exceptional boating experiences. From hidden gems to luxury amenities, these winners reflect the heart and soul of our vibrant boating community.


In their 2025 selection the magazine has selected The Wharf Marina Best Marina in the south region. MarinaLife stated it's award recap "Home to a vibrant entertainment district and luxurious amenities, The Wharf delivers a unique blend of southern hospitality and coastal elegance."


The Alabama coast has seen a flurry of marina expansion and new locations in recent years. Many of them are multi-use facilities which provide more than a dock and fuel.
