Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo

The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo will offer special admission discounts throughout January and February to welcome the new year. The Gulf Shores nonprofit zoo announced two promotions to make visits more affordable for families and seniors. General admission includes daily keeper chats and educational walkabouts that connect visitors with wildlife and conservation education. The zoo cares for more than 280 animals and serves the local Gulf Coast community.

Starting Saturday, January 3, 2026, the zoo will discount all regular admission by 26 percent on Saturdays and Sundays throughout January. The weekend promotion runs through January 31, 2026, covering nine days total. Visitors can take advantage of the discount on January 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, and 31.

Adults ages 62 and over can visit for just $10 every Wednesday from January 7 through February 25, 2026. The Senior Wednesday discount applies to regular zoo admission during the eight-week period. Both promotions aim to increase access to the zoo's educational programs and animal exhibits.
