One of the year's best events opens ticket sales today

News in Gulf Shores

Three nights of live rodeo action return to the Alabama Gulf Coast as Flora-Bama hosts its annual Bulls on the Beach event. The popular rodeo draws professional bull riders from across the country. Guests will enjoy themed nights, live music, family-friendly entertainment, and a chance to support a worthy cause.

The event takes place Thursday through Saturday, September 4–6, at the World-Famous Flora-Bama. Doors open at 5 p.m. each night. Live music starts at 6 p.m., with bull riding action from 8 to 9 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. on July 4.

All tickets are general admission, with bleacher seating on a first-come, first-served basis. No three-day passes are available—tickets are sold individually for each night. No refunds will be issued for any reason.

A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, allowing fans to enjoy the show while supporting a life-saving mission. Attendees are encouraged to buy tickets early, as the event often sells out.

Each night features a unique theme. Thursday is “Boots & Rhinestones”—dust off your cowboy boots and add some sparkle. Friday is “COWabunga,” celebrating beach vibes with Hawaiian shirts and fun attire. Saturday is “Stars & Stripes” in honor of American pride.

Thursday is also Kid’s Night. Children 12 and under can participate in a coloring contest for a chance to win a new bike. Bring the completed coloring sheet to the venue Thursday and hand it to a designated door staff member.

Ticket pricing remains unchanged. Adult tickets (18+) are $40 per night. Children ages 7–17 are $20, and kids 6 and under enter free. All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

A valid physical ID is required for all adults. Accepted forms include a current driver’s license, passport, military ID, or state-issued ID. No paper or digital IDs will be accepted under any circumstances.

Guests must be 21 or older to enter the Flora-Bama building after the event. For ADA seating, contact the Flora-Bama event team in advance at events@florabama.com to make arrangements.

If you're hungry before the show, the Flora-Bama Oyster Bar, Ole River Grill, and Yacht Club will be open with food and drinks all weekend. These local favorites offer convenient dining near the rodeo grounds.

Parking is extremely limited, and guests are encouraged to arrive early for the best spots. For coloring sheets, full rules, or more event details, visit the
Flora-Bama Bulls on the Beach website.
