Free Concert At Gulf Place Kicks Off Frank Brown Songwriters Festival Preview

Gulf Place concert open to the public at no charge

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (GSN) — The City of Gulf Shores is hosting a free outdoor concert Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gulf Place (101 Gulf Shores Parkway). Part of the annual fall Sunset Series on the Town Green, the event serves as a preview showcase for the upcoming Frank Brown Songwriters Festival held every November along the Gulf Coast.
The evening features three distinct musical acts:
- The Wilson Brothers (5:00 – 6:00 p.m.): Alabamians Chad and Kyle Wilson open the night with their award-winning original songwriting and harmonies, drawing on a lifetime in a musical family.
- Johnny Hayes (6:00 – 7:00 p.m.): The Mobile-based independent artist—known for his 2017 appearance on NBC's The Voice and being named 2025's "best male vocalist" at the Flora-Bama—takes the stage following collaborations and shared stages with numerous notable acts.
- Craig Campbell (7:00 – 8:00 p.m.): Nashville hitmaker and Grindstone Recordings founder Craig Campbell closes the evening, bringing established radio hits like "Family Man" and "Outskirts of Heaven" alongside tracks from his recent Class of '89 and Almost Greatest Hits projects.
All Sunset Series concerts are 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 to the public and take place on the Town Green at Gulf Place beginning at 5 p.m. Will Yum Food Truck will be set up for those who wish to purchase food, Kona Ice will be set up selling delicious sweet treats, and the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber will be selling beverages for all ages to enjoy!
