Gulf Shores Dolphins defeat the Baldwin Tigers

Gulf Shores Sports News

The Dolphins of Gulf Shores scored in every quarter as they defeated the Baldwin County Tigers in high school football. The (4-5) Fins dominated behind the quarterbacking of Jud Harris and contributions of runs from the entire backfield. The final score was 31-12.

The Dolphins will next face the Murphy Panthers on October 31. Murphy is winless for the season.

Unfortunately the Makos football team of Orange Beach fell to the St. Michaels Catholic School Cardinals by a score of 49-7. The home game for the Orange Beach Makos was well attended in their new stadium but the Cardinals of Fairhope, coached by NFL legend Phillip Rivers, performed well in every aspect of the game.

The Orange Beach Makos end their season with a 4-6 overall record.

Local high school football games are being broadcast on Sunny 105.7 radio. You can listen live on the radio and computer.

After each local high school football game, Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores is staying open late! When asked why the management said "Because victory (and even tough losses) taste better with nachos, burgers, and something cold at the beach’s Tackiest hangout!"
