South Baldwin attorney enters Circuit Judge race

The next election season has begun and one of the position on the ballot will be for Circuit Court Judge. Unless you have been hibernating in the house you have probably seen the election signs for a south Baldwin attorney running for the position.
Jeremiah Giles, a Baldwin County native and practicing attorney, has officially entered the race. For nearly 20 years, Giles has practiced law, beginning as an Assistant District Attorney and now in private practice here in my hometown of Summerdale.
He stated "As a judge, I will be tough on crime while remaining fair and impartial. My experience across a broad range of legal areas has prepared me to hold offenders accountable and ensure justice is served. When violent career criminals are convicted, I will uphold the law and protect Baldwin County families by imposing the strongest sentences allowed."
Giles has already received endorsements from past Baldwin DA Whetstone and current Judge Pamela Baschab.
Jeremiah Giles graduated from Robertsdale High School and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama and his law degree from Saint Louis University.
The election for Baldwin County Circuit Court Judge, Place #7, will take place on May 19, 2026.
