LuLu’s has announced the addition of Karl Langley as its new Talent Booking Manager, a move that promises to boost the restaurant’s already lively music scene. Langley will oversee booking live entertainment for both the Gulf Shores and Destin locations. Known for blending Southern charm with top-notch performances, LuLu’s plans to make live music an even bigger part of the guest experience. The announcement highlights the restaurant’s ongoing commitment to Gulf Coast culture and its reputation for signature events that draw crowds year-round.

The new role for Langley officially begins this week, marking an exciting start to 2026 for the coastal venues. LuLu’s, founded by Lucy Buffett, continues to attract locals and tourists alike for its combination of food, family, and regionally inspired music. Both the Gulf Shores and Destin restaurants host regular live performances throughout the year, and Langley’s arrival signals an even greater focus on curating memorable shows.

Langley brings decades of experience in live performance, recording, and production. He has collaborated with celebrated regional artists, including David Wilcox, Grayson Capps, and Will Kimbrough. His résumé also includes sound design for Broadway-level productions, including Godspell JR. and Newsies JR., in New York City.

“Karl brings decades of experience in live performance, recording, and production,” LuLu’s said in the announcement. “He’ll be amplifying our live music experience, handpicking incredible local talent, curating unforgettable shows, and celebrating the Buffett family legacy that defines our Gulf Coast roots.”

Offstage, Langley remains deeply engaged in music education and production. He owns Green Room Studio in Fairhope, Alabama, where he records and produces local artists. He also teaches music at W.J. Carroll Intermediate School and leads summer recording sessions at Camp Laurel’s Rockport Recording Studio in Maine.

LuLu’s invites guests to welcome Langley and enjoy what promises to be an exciting year of live performances. With a rich mix of talent and tradition, the popular coastal restaurants are gearing up for another season of good food, good fun, and great music.
