LuLu’s Restaurant Group, founded by Lucy Buffett, has announced Johnny Fisher as the new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Fisher, a Mobile, AL native, brings a wealth of industry experience, including his previous role as General Manager of LuLu’s Gulf Shores location. In his new position, Fisher will oversee all three LuLu’s restaurants, located in Gulf Shores, AL, Destin, FL, and North Myrtle Beach, SC, continuing to build on the brand’s reputation for exceptional Gulf Coast dining and family-friendly entertainment.

Lucy Buffett, founder, and owner of LuLu’s restaurants with locations in Gulf Shores, AL, Destin, FL and North Myrtle Beach, SC, announces Johnny Fisher as the new President and COO. A native of Mobile, AL, Fisher has a long-time impressive background in the restaurant industry, including being the General Manager of LuLu’s in Gulf Shores from 2005 to 2012.


“I am thrilled to have Johnny Fisher take the helm of LuLu’s,” commented Lucy Buffett. “There is no question that he was responsible for putting our Gulf Shores LuLu’s on the map during his tenure as GM. Now, in his capacity as President and COO overseeing all my restaurants, there’s no question that he will maintain and grow our long-standing reputation and tradition as destination restaurants where families come for our unique experience, exceptional Gulf Coast food, and fun-filled, musical entertainment. This is his specialty.”


Fisher came to LuLu’s from New Orleans, where he was the Director of Restaurant Operations at the House of Blues for several years. While at the LuLu’s in Gulf Shores, Fisher grew their events and culture which increased their sales ten-fold. Following his years with LuLu’s in Gulf Shores, he was a founder and co-owner of ‘The Gulf’ restaurant in Orange Beach, AL. Fisher went on to found and co-own sister restaurants, Fisher’s at Orange Beach Marina and Playa in Orange Beach. Most recently, Fisher was Director of Florida Operations of New Orleans-based Juan’s Flying Burrito.
