Since its inception, MAAAC has raised over $1.5 million—including surpassing $1 million in community sponsorships alone—providing vital resources, scholarships, and opportunities that directly empower every student to thrive.

Registration is now open for the 2026 MAAAC Fall Fishing Rodeo, a multi-species competitive fishing tournament benefiting Orange Beach City Schools. The event welcomes anglers of all ages to compete in several divisions. Competitors can earn awards and prizes, including the title of Master Angler. The tournament also features additional jackpot competitions alongside the main divisional events.

The fishing rodeo is scheduled for October 23–25, 2026. Weigh-ins will be held at the Mobile Big Game Fishing Club at Orange Beach Marina. Anglers must register before the deadline to be eligible to compete. Registration is available online through Fishing Chaos at app.fishingchaos.com.

The tournament has three main age divisions. Youth anglers 10 and under and Junior anglers ages 11 through 17 each pay $35 to enter. Adult anglers 18 and older pay $50 to compete.

Each division targets different eligible species. Competitors will vie for First, Second, and Third Place awards in each eligible species category. Each division will also present a Master Angler award, based on the tournament's point system.
