Top 10 airlines include Allegiant which will service Gulf Shores

Gulf Shores Airline News

The new year has started and soon Gulf Shores will have new airline service. Allegiant Air was also named one of Condé Nast Traveler Top 10 Airlines for the nation in 2024. The airline will launch six new nonstop routes from Gulf Shores International Airport starting in May 2025, connecting the beach community to major cities across the country.

If you are a local traveler and need to use an international airline, the news is also good. Delta Airlines was ranked #1 in the nation and is available at Pensacola's International Airport. The airport (PNS) has also been ranked ninth in USA Today's "10 Best Reader's Choice Awards" for small airports in the United States.

Local residents anxiously await the completion of the new terminal at the Gulf Shores Airport. The local Airport Authority is providing weekly updates on their Facebook page for interested parties to follow.

For those that like to travel in a different style there is Executive Aviation Group in Gulf Shores. You can pick out your private jet and travel in style to the islands or just about anywhere you ask the pilot to go.

So now that there are new ways to get into and out of Gulf Shores, where will your flying destination be?
