Almost halfway through the high school football season

Friday night was quiet in Gulf Shores as the Dolphins enjoyed a bye week in their schedule. Their next game will be October 3rd at St. Paul's Episcopal. The Saints are currently 4-1, with their only loss to Theodore.


The Orange Beach Makos fell to the Robertsdale Bears on Friday. The Bears beat the Makos with a score of 22-18. This make the Orange Beach High School Football winning percentage to .500 (3-3).


The Makos next game will be at Escambia County High on the 3rd of October. The Escambia Blue Devils currently have a 1-4 overall record.


Local high school football games are being broadcast on Sunny 105.7 radio. You can listen live on the radio and computer.


After each local high school football game, Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores is staying open late! When asked why the management said "Because victory (and even tough losses) taste better with nachos, burgers, and something cold at the beach’s Tackiest hangout!"
