3rd Annual Visions of Christmas show with free tickets and donations

Orange Beach is gearing up for the holiday season with its 3rd Annual "Visions of Christmas" show. The Expect Excellence Music Department will host the event from November 30 to December 2 at 7 p.m., with an additional matinée at 2 p.m. on the last day.

The variety show, set to take place at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center, promises a mix of musical styles. Caleb Pittman, the Music Director, assures there will be tunes for all tastes, from classical to rock 'n' roll holiday songs.

Jessica Langston, the Creative Director, highlights the show's popularity, noting its ability to spread hope and joy. Pittman agrees, emphasizing the show's role in uniting the community for a unique experience.

This year's show will entertain with recurring themes and humor and surprise returning audiences with new elements. Pittman teases that no two shows are the same, promising unexpected Christmas delights.

The show also supports charitable causes, with partnerships with "Operation Christmas Child" and "Toys 4 Tots." The Performing Arts Center will collect toys and host donation boxes during the show.

The Expect Excellence Music staff, many of whom are University of Mobile alumni, draw inspiration from their college's "Christmas Spectacular." Pittman hopes to deliver joy and the true message of the season through the performance.

Following the success of the summer rock tribute, "Dream On," Pittman notes that "Visions of Christmas" presents a different challenge with formal musical arrangements, including solos and full choirs.
