Orange Beach Police and Fire Rescue will host a new camp this summer to help kids learn about public safety. The first Public Safety Kids' Camp will be held at the Orange Beach Recreation Center. The event will offer hands-on fun, activities, and demonstrations. It’s a unique chance for local children to meet first responders and see how they help the community.

The camp runs from Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18, 2025. It is open to kids ages 8 to 12. The camp runs each day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and lunch will be provided.

Police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers will lead the camp. They’ll show campers the tools and skills used in their daily work. The goal is to teach safety and build community trust.

The camp is free, but spots are limited to 25 kids. Parents must register their children to attend. Registration is now open and ends on June 27th or when the class fills up. Click here to
