Famed resort consistently gives back to community

education news in the gulf shores area

The management and owners of the Perdido Beach Resort have been generously giving back to the community since opening their doors in 1987. They have hosted dignitaries and events, been a central point of communication during crisis, introduced thousand of visitors to the beaches and always shown leadership in community government and organizations.

In a time of education funding uncertainty, the Perdido Beach Resort has stepped forward again. They have pledged to be a Diamond Level Sponsor for the 2025-2026 school year.

Orange Beach City Schools and the Mako Academics, Arts, and Athletics Club announced the major new sponsorship. This is the highest sponsorship level, created to boost academics, arts, and athletics across the district.

Superintendent Randy Wilkes said the sponsorship is not just financial help, but an investment in the students’ futures. The donation will expand opportunities and enrich student experiences throughout Orange Beach City Schools.

Perdido Beach Resort's Chief Marketing Officer Jessie Radcliff said the resort is proud to invest in students and the future of the community. The partnership brings new energy and excitement to both the schools and the Orange Beach community.
